September 2005 - an interesting find has come to light which is directly connected to this issue!

In 1971 - see next section- when East Pakistan became Bangladesh several "local" Post Offices produced their own special overprint, for this stamp, to proclaim their new Country - a selection of these are shown - thanks to the generosity of Richard Ley.
